Why Create a Garden?

This community garden was an idea that started when our Executive Director, Jennifer Smith, met the amazing and courageous families who receive food at The Round Pantry, located in Westview Presbyterian Church at 1500 Hover Street in Longmont, Colorado. This gave Jennifer the conviction to start The Round Urban Garden, a 501(c)(3) urban agricultural garden on the property of the church.

 

We grow food and give it all away, helping to feed 1,500 homeless individuals and low-income families every month.
